The Graveyard Shift: Find out why some of Year 2s visited The Mount cemetery up behind the school...

As part of their learning about Remembrance Day, Year 2s headed up The Mount to potter round the cemetery with local historian Phillip Mansley, Fr Andrew and other members of the St Nics' Church congregation, finding out about the lives of some of the local people who were involved in WW1.
The children have also been finding out about the Poppy Display at the Tower of London and writing remembrance poems, and on 11th November will be participating in a remembrance event at the church.
